About the IBEW.
Formed to protect workers rights, ensure fair wages and benefits and enhance the image of the electrical worker, the "National Brotherhood of Electrical Workers" was chartered by the American Federation Of Labor in St. Louis in 1891. This group became the "International" in 1901 with the induction of a Canadian affiliate in 1899. (Click here for the IBEW site). To meet the skilled manpower needs of the electrical contracting industry, the IBEW and NECA sponsor a comprehensive apprenticeship and training program. The IBEW and NECA also sponsor advanced training in specialized areas.

Workforce.
Our workforce is comprised of electricians. We maintain a 3 to 1 ratio, that is, 3 journeyman wiremen for very 1 apprentice on a job. There are no unskilled laborers doing electrical work on our jobs. Our productivity is unmatched.

Dependability.
Our journeymen are at work on time...all the time. Our men and women are certified drug free and are alcohol free.

Training.
Our men are NY State certified Master Electricians. They complete a 5 year accredited apprenticeship program, consisting of classroom and on-the-job training. Upgrade training programs keep our men and women abreast of the changes in the industry. (Click h ere to view the JATC site.)

Safety.
Our workforce exceeds mandated safety requirements. As well as receiving all OSHA certifications and refresher courses, all of our men and women receive first aid (min. 6.5 hours, every 3 years) and CPR training, and the NY State Dept. of Health asbestos course.
Customer Satisfaction.
The necessity of a satisfied customer is stressed to our men and women. Twenty hours of industrial and labor relations training, applicable law and legal practices instruction, as well as 3 hours of sexual harassment training are given.

We provide an unlimited, qualified labor pool. Any manpower need at any skill level can be met at short notice.

With a project labor agreement, you are assured that your project will be completed on time with no labor problems. If there is a dispute, it will be settled with no interruption in production. All work is coordinated with the trades to ensure the maximum efficiency.
